Expert Team Committed to Delivering Excellence in Facility Services
Gary founded Allegiance Industries while he was still a student at the University of South Carolina. The company quickly gained success, prompting Gary to dedicate himself full-time to the business after graduation. Under his leadership, Allegiance Industries expanded its services by acquiring a janitorial company and securing contracts with commercial and large industrial clients. Gary’s strategic vision led to further growth through the acquisition of a security company and an electrical company, allowing Allegiance Industries to offer a comprehensive range of facility services to its clients. In addition to his role as CEO of Allegiance Industries, Gary also serves on the Board of Directors for the South Carolina Aquarium.
With experience that spans over eighteen years in the facility maintenance industry, John has directed Allegiance during a time of unprecedented internal and external development. From the implementation of industry-specific back office operations to enhanced employee training programs for sales logistics, John has played an integral part in Allegiance’s continued emergence over the past decade.
A former baseball coach (1985-96) and a graduate of the University of South Carolina, (M.Ed.—Educational Administration), John’s strategic growth management approach combines an emphasis on existing client relationships in concurrence with an employee-centered “reference creator” training approach.
In his downtime, John serves on the Board of Trustees for SCICU and is the President of the Spring Valley Country Club.

Edward is a graduate of the University of South Carolina’s Darla Moore School of Business with a Master of Taxation (MTAX), and is a certified public accountant. His 20 plus year career includes practicing as a public accountant with Elliot Davis, as well as work with both nonprofit organizations and for-profit companies. At Allegiance Industries, Edward focuses on enhancing customer service through strategic management and operational efficiency while continuing to grow the business through acquisition and organic growth.
Chris is a graduate of the University of Kentucky Gatton School of Business, holding a Masters of Business Administration (MBA). With a strong foundation in LEAN manufacturing principles, Chris brings a commitment to standardized processes and streamlined services to Allegiance. His professional background includes experience in Quality Controls at a prominent kitchen cabinet manufacturer, where he obtained his Six Sigma Black Belt certification before transitioning into the facilities industry.
At Allegiance, Chris prioritizes five key areas: Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, and Technology (SQDC+T). He believes in driving excellence in these areas to ensure the company’s success and growth. During his time at the University of Kentucky, Chris was also a member of the Cheerleading team, achieving two national titles.
Chris’s diverse background and dedication to continuous improvement make him a valuable asset to Allegiance, where he is committed to driving operational excellence and delivering exceptional results.
Sean is a graduate of the University of South Carolina with a Masters of Science (MS/SPTE). Sean manages all day-to-day janitorial & security operations for Allegiance’s diverse portfolio of clients that span over 100 individual locations across 12 states. Sean oversees 7 Regional Managers with a focus on strategic development, operating efficiency, and client relations. While at The University of South Carolina, Sean was a member of the Baseball team, finishing as National Runner-Up in 2012.
A US Navy veteran, Peter studied electronics and worked on aviation support equipment in the military. He took that knowledge and applied it to the electrical sector working on field installations, estimating, project management, operations, business, employee development, and business strategies. He earned his Master Electrician and Contractor licenses, both in multiple states. Since joining Allegiance, he has been instrumental in helping bring new culture, vision, and growth to the electrical division.
With dual degrees in Business Management and Marketing, Katie graduated with honors from the University of South Carolina, specializing in Human Resources. After graduating, Katie gained experience working for the University of South Carolina in Special Events for the President’s Office. However, she soon realized her passion and degree in Human Resources were not being fully utilized in her current role. Fortunately, through a mutual contact, Katie learned that Edward Conroy was seeking a candidate for a position in the Human Resources department. She proactively reached out to him, arranged a lunch interview, and ultimately secured the position. This opportunity allowed Katie to align her career with her passion and expertise in Human Resources.
Katie recently marked her 10-year milestone with Allegiance, where she serves as the leader of our esteemed HR team. Her responsibilities encompass a wide range of crucial tasks, such as managing payroll, benefits, recruitment, onboarding, policy implementation, safety protocols, unemployment claims, and workers’ compensation. Primarily, Katie’s role is dedicated to ensuring that Allegiance maintains a safe, fair, and fun place to work.
Ashley cultivated her passion for effective communication by obtaining a Bachelor of Science in Mass Communications from Lander University. During her time at Lander University, Ashley was an active member of the Iota Omicron chapter of Zeta Tau Alpha. Following her graduation, Ashley transitioned to Charleston where she began her professional journey in aerospace recruiting, leveraging her strong interpersonal skills to make a significant impact.
In search of new challenges, Ashley made the decision to transition her career to the facility service industry and became a part of a local franchise, 360clean. Throughout her time at 360clean, Ashley held various roles including Support Coordinator, Business Development Coordinator, and Business Development Manager.
During her tenure, Ashley was instrumental in developing systems and processes for a franchisee Preset Sales Appointment Program, which resulted in securing over $3 million in potential annual contract volume. Additionally, Ashley streamlined the company’s client records by digitizing them, effectively integrating sales and client data into one easily manageable database. Ashley’s contributions played a significant role in the success of the franchise and demonstrated her ability to drive results through strategic planning and execution.
In January 2021, Ashley moved to the Columbia area to be closer to her family and embark on her career as the Business Development Manager at Allegiance Industries. Ashley orchestrated a comprehensive B2B marketing strategy, seamlessly integrating her expertise in CRM systems to drive implementation to fruition. She successfully assembled a team of inside sales representatives and has effectively guided them to secure over $168 million, with the figure continuing to rise, in potential annual contract volume within her initial three years with Allegiance. In addition to her Business Development responsibilities, Ashley manages all aspects of social media and marketing. This encompasses creating marketing materials, advertisements, business cards, and social media content.
She was promoted to the position of Director of Business Development and Sales, where she consistently seeks out innovative strategies to drive company growth. During her personal time, Ashley enjoys reading and raising twin boys with her devoted husband.
